Asys Computers giving online retailing a bad name.

Many of us in the industry have by now read the myriad of posts on Whirlpool (click here to read them) about  asys.com.au  (not to be confused with Asus computers, the reputable notebook and PC hardware brand) and customers who have paid money to this online retailer to then never see their money or purchase ever again.
It was brought to our attention that there is now a Facebook page set up (probably by some prankster) purporting to be Tony Hofman (unless Tony is this brazen to set soemthing like this up) and it goes to show the viral  nature of the internet and what will happen when you upset people. Not often we get to see an article comparing US and UK metrics. Thanks to Exact Target a US based company and Econsultancy a UK based company (now with offices in New York too), this is a rare opportunity to see what companies on both side of the pond plan to spend on digital marketing budgets - Blindly it appears.

How many times have worked with your team, tweaking a site to its absolute best, only to visit your client's office and freeze in horror when they launch IE6 to view your masterpiece!  Especially when you realise that you have checked all browsers except IE 6 because its been such a donkey for so long that you had relegated it to history!
